Jovana Vasković (known also as Hajdi Margo) was born in 1985. in Knjazevac, Serbia. She graduated from the Faculty of Electronic Engineering in Nis. Hajdi is self-taught photographer but she is a storyteller also. Her photographic stories are product of her inspiration of fairies and dolls. Hajdi is engaged in this form for a long time. She develops her inspiration in her imagination and direct communication with models who come from her immediate environment. By exhibiting at wikibion.com author begins her tendency to move from local to more wide audience. Today Hajdi Margo lives and works in Knjazevac.
Within exhibition The Storyteller..., Jovana present 44 photos where she is focused on women as the basic key elements of her creations. Inspired by fairies and dolls, she creates fine-art photographs that remind of colorful paintings with a woman as central figure. Through each of the stories Hajdi attempts to enter deeply into the nature and the imagination of its characters and displays them in this form. Hajdi uses her creativity to transform females into fairies and dark beauty ladies. Behind each picture is a story that is followed by an ambient which is fulfilled with strong colors and surreal elements. Photographs show inner emotional struggle of a woman. Pictures contain both, gentle and cruel forms.
